This month’s focus is improving on features that already exist on Hummingbird to make them better and easier to use.

Big Updates to Reports

We have focused our recent efforts on ensuring that your Management Summary report is reflecting your data accurately. We have closely examined all of the formulas that are used to summarize your data in this report, in order to reduce complexity and ensure the formulas are efficient and accurate. 

There are several other reports that have been evaluated and updated in the same way as the MSR, so that you’ll be able to validate your financial information effectively. These additional reports include the Cash Audit, Payment by Product Type, and Close of Day.

If you have recently submitted a request via our Customer Support team regarding reports, please keep a close eye on your inbox for a Zendesk notification to confirm that your issue has been resolved. 

Share and Schedule Reports

• Instantly Share a Report. We’ve introduced tools to make it easier to share a report, instantly. You can now text or email a report on demand. Send any Hummingbird report to a co-worker, an external email recipient, or simply text a link to the report. 

• Setup Repeat Delivery. Hummingbird now features the ability to schedule a report for repeat delivery. Whether it’s sending in your Protection/Insurance report to your claims administrator monthly, or having a set of reports emailed weekly to your district manager, we’ve got you covered. 

  View and Edit Your Scheduled Delivery. Once you set up your repeat delivery schedule, you can view the list of reports scheduled to be delivered or modify the frequency of delivery. 

• • Search Scheduled Reports. We’ve made it simple to locate the scheduled report you’re looking for so you can either review or edit the reports or schedule. You can easily search your scheduled reports by report name, delivery schedule, property or recipients. 

Important Note: In order to view the reports sent via text or email, the recipient may need to allow pop-up windows in their internet browser.

New Collections 

We’ve also introduced two new report Collections to the Reports Library. The Bankers Box and Investor Reports collections group the most commonly requested reports by banks and investors. Easily locate, share and schedule the entire collection to send out to your financial institution or your investors with a few mouse clicks.

Additional Accounting Export

We have also expanded our accounting export offerings. Hummingbird now supports the Sage Intacct CSV file format. This is in addition to Yardi and Quickbooks. And don’t forget, you can also download a PDF of the General Ledger for quick review or distribution, too.

Integrations

DoorKing 

Doorking (DKS) offers products for automated gate systems that help secure your self storage property. Doorking’s Account Manager Application for access control runs concurrently with the Hummingbird Gate Application, allowing you to transfer data quickly between the two systems. The Hummingbird Gate App UI provides a connection status indicator as well as a manual sync function.
