Superior Storage, which uses Tenant Inc.'s self-storage software platform to power its facilities, built its five-store portfolio from the ground up with smart technology at its core. 

Their "Tyler West" facility, located in Tyler, Texas, recently won the Smart Facility of the Year award because it is one of the few facilities that operates completely with technology: including camera systems, keyless entry for their units and gates, and remote concierge manager software that enable completely remote and integrated property management. 

This remote concierge software detects when a customer enters the facility office and prompts a remote manager to call into a kiosk to speak to the customer through a live video call.
