Greens Storage Escondido, which uses the Tenant Inc. software platform to power its self-storage facilities, has worked on sustainability improvements to its facility for over 20 years. 

One of the biggest sustainability-focused improvements the owners made to their Escondido facility is an advanced stormwater drain system that can retain about 27,000 gallons of water in its tank. The system filters, cleans, and stores stormwater in order to use it for irrigation at its property. 

The HVAC system the owners added to the facility holds the highest efficiency rating available, which allows customers to have a 68-degree temperature while they're loading and unloading their belongings, but uses minimal energy. 

To further improve the experience for customers, the facility also offers EVE chargers free of charge to its tenants.
